Last week it came to my attention that Blizzard is taking action against wowglider. The big question is much chance does Blizzard have if they take it to court. Well I am no legal expert. But it can't be that easy to earn money from others hard work without a license or some other agreement. I do hope that Blizzard goes all the way. Because it would be nice to get things into the courtroom. Even if it means that Blizzard loose.
Until next time.

Some updates
There havent been much activity at this site for a while. I have had limited internet access for a while. But now everything is resolved. Thus this blog and the site will become more updated.
Almost a year ago I started this project just to see what happened. And things did happen. I was hated over at the allakhazam forums. And still is I guess. As a result of this my Adsense account got suspended because of invalid clicks. I suspect members of the allakhazam forums. How come you might ask, it's really simple. The place I advertised this site the most was those forums.
And that's where the hate came from also.
But even without the links from Allakhazam some visitors are coming along. So I guess there is a life for this site. So I have decided to keep it running. I will make regular updates to this site from now on. More links will be added over time. One thing I might add is a function where people can rate games. Rate them on how they handle RMT issues for example. But that's for a later update.
Until next time

It's nice to see how things are normal over at the allakhazam forums
Gotta say I do like to see the various threads about RMT gilselling etc etc that pops up there.
Keep up the good work. I am about to return to FFXI after a short vacation. Looking forward to it.

Dear allakhazam users part 2
Since I am such an attention whore I will leave every comment the members of the allakhazam users posts. For every single comment beneath me is made by members of the allakhazam community. But to be honest I couldnt care less about them. They have as much brains as Baldrick. If those people played blackjack and got 20 they would yell hit me. In other words they suck at gambling.
I liked the news that both Blizzard and SE banned some accounts. I did not like the fact that most of the well known RMT characters are still going strong. I mean it cant be that hard to get rid of them. Just take a look at how long these players are online doing stuff. Characters beeing online 24/7 for long long periods of time is a sure way spot a cheater. Especially if they are mining or fishing all the time.
Thats all for now. A game of poker awaits.

I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled like elderberries.

So they went ahead and banned me.
Well it doesnt matter. That place is a cesspool anyway you look at it. If i'm not the one beeing the "troll" Someone else is. And someone in there is bound to tell em to go kill themselfs or something even more mature. I sometimes wonder what the owner of that place thinks about some of the posts in there. I wonder what people are going to say when the merger is done. Lots of new posters I bet that can create havoc. I wonder if they are going to keep up with the ratings system or if they will get rid of it all together. I know what I would do if I ran that place. I would get me more moderators. And start enforcing the law. Well enough about the Allakhazam forums.
Someone posted a way to get SE to react when someone has stolen your account. Talk to your creditcard company and dispute the amount that SE or any other gaming company has taken from your account. This forces them to dig up the info. If a thing like this could get stolen accounts frozen. It would send a strong signal to those that buy stolen accounts. It would tell them that its a bad idea. Nobody likes the tought of loosing money. Actually I think this would be the best way to give the RMT business a kick in the balls. If people bought an account and lost the account and the money they paid for it. Or if they bought gil/gold/plat and got busted. That would send a strong signal to the others that it might not be such a good idea.

I gave someone a challenge.
And they failed at it. I have two other accounts over at allakhazam. It's easy to say that anyone that agrees with me or rates me up is one of my accounts. So I gave one of them a challenge. To go into the feedback forum and ask if it's me. But of course that aint gonna happen. Because certain posters are a bunch a pussies. And if they did so they would discover that someone else but me. Is rating me up.
A guy got busted for using bots to assault other players in the game Lineage 2. I hope that the items he stole are beeing returned to the players that lost them. That might teach the fuckers that buys virtual items with real money a lesson.

A few words before I go to bed.
I have said it before And I will say it again.
Anyone that posts useful posts over at allakhazam. Is nothing but RMT fanboys. I mean how can you put it otherwise. Either you are against RMT or you are for it aint no middle ground.
Again its fun to see the mature responses from the fanboys over at allakhazam. I am sure they make the owners of that site proud over the way they promote the site. I said that I will be posting nothing usefull over there from now on. And the nice thing is. Every hateful reply I get over at that site. Only fuels my cause and helps it. For every reply telling me to kill myself is just another step into turning that place into a cesspool.

Why do I still post at allahkazam.
I have various reasons to post there. One is by beeing a complete asshole I might drive people away from the site. Second by posting useless stuff the site gets less attractive. If the information that people look for are wrong or useless players are more likely to not return.
And judging by the replies here in my blog you boys and girls deserves it all. Remember you reap what you sow.

It's nice to see how mature the members of the allakhazam comunity is.
It's kinda revealing to see how some people are acting. Wishing that someone should die just because they express an opinion that is different then theirs, is pretty sad. And it just shows how stupid they are. Well I got some news for you. FUCK YOU I couldnt care less about it. Let me just say one thing. The next time I get a nasty PM from another Allakhazam member with some death wishes. I am not going to delete them like I have done before. I will send them to the moderators.

Allakhazam sells its soul
The biggest site out there when it comes to online games. Is bought by the largest rmt company out there. I say fuck em. I hope that nobody pays for their premium service. And that most of the posters get the hell out of there. And that all that gonna be left behind is bandwidth costs and useless posts. I hope that in the end the money they spent buying the site. Is a loss.

What are the plans for my site and my blog.
So what are my future plans.
Well I have a few things lined up for my site at http://www.rmtexposed.com.
Among the things I am working on are some interviews. With both RMT companies and various gaming companies. I'm trying to put together a ratings system where people can rate various games on how they handle various aspects of RMT.
These are the two things I have in stores. Along with some minor adjustments to the site.
Lastly I want to say thank you to the allakazham forums. You are the most frequent visitors to my site. Thanks.

It's been fun
It's been fun playing again. I have to say it was nice to meet my old LS friends again. And some new ones. Since my return I have done quite a bit. Yesterday I beat Leviathan and Ramuh. So now I have the 6 avatars I need to start playing as a SMN again. I have waited until I got Ramuh Garuda Leviathan Ifrit Shiva and Titan. But I think I'm going to wait untill I'm finished leveling up RDM before I start to level up SMN. I also got my Sleepga II scroll yesterday. I am however not sure what to do with it. I might lvl up BLM, if I do that I will have to buy it from the AH if I sell it now. I will wait and see what I do. I also ordered TAU today. I paid like 20 dollars for it. And a free dvd along with it. I am really looking forward to this. I am looking forward to see the new areas. Well until next time happy playing.

Players on the Leviathan server better prepare.
Yepp thats right. By the end of the week I am back. Its been a few months since the last time I played. The reason I stopped playing was that I was getting tired of the game. Tired of the game in general. I think I might have spent to much time in there. So I took a break.
I am looking forward to my return. There are many things I'm looking forward to check out. Like how much the prices on things has risen. And I'm also looking forward to the new expansion. It looks great, and I have to say that SE has done a great job.
While I was gone. I played Wow, and I think its great. I am currently a lvl 49 warrior. Playing as a warrior was quite a change for me. In FFXI I have been playing mostly as magic users. My main is a Rdm but I have also played as whm and smn. The biggest challenge now is to be able to play both games. I like them both so much that I want to keep on playing both. Hmm maybe I will play Wow Mondays Tuesdays and Fridays and then play FFXI on the rest of the days. Well I gotta think about that for a while. Gotta make the perfect schedule.
Well until next time. Remember dont eat the yellow snow.

A new kind of RMT
A little while back I read a story that involved the game Nordic Mafia. This is a scandinavian game that is free to play. What I read was that young girls. Offered to strip on webcam in exchange for in game money.
I have to say that I have a hard time understanding why someone would do something like this. Its one thing to use daddys creditcard to obtain some gil plat or gold. But to strip naked to total strangers. Thats something else.
And it shows what kind of world we live in when grown men trades virtual cash for stripping. And in the process abuses young girls. I seriously hope that this is something that isnt gonna spread around to other games.

I am starting to think SE has some tricks up their sleeve.
SE decided to limit the amount of gil possible to send trough the deliverybox system.
In my opinion this kinda things are one of the best ways to take a stand against RMT.
The biggest problem with that is to balance it so that it doesnt affect to many honest players.
But its simple really. The more it costs the RMT businesses to do business inside a game. The quicker they will move on. And time is money. The more time it takes for people to get their gil. The bigger is the chance they will no buy gil. I mean if you go online to buy something. Where do you purchase it ? I bet you go to the place that can send you the stuff quickest. Its the same way with gilbuyers. The more they have to do to get their gil. Less and less will buy it.
I think that SE have something else on its way. With the release of the expansion on its way. I think that they will atleast have one more thing up their sleeve. And only time will tell.
Until next time. Enjoy your gaming. And dont eat the yellow snow.

Good Job Square Enix
Congratulations on a job well done. I have to say it brought a smile to my face when I saw the news that SE were taking countermeasures against rmt. I am sure that you will continue to keep up the preasure on certain companies.

My take on the state of the FFXI economy.
Who do I believe has created those high prices. The players themself has created them. And the biggest factor is those players greed. I believe that sometime soon the economy on some servers are going to crash. Because I think that more and more people are going to stop paying those higher prices. Either because they want to cash in themself, by going into business. Or try farming more and more of their own crafting needs for example. Because I belive that most players doesnt use their own power to control prices. Especially in a game where people pay hefty AH fees. Getting items sent in return sucks. And if this started to happen more often. I belive that those trying to rise the prices would think tvice about doing it. If this happened on a large enough scale. The prices would drop all over as a result of less gil beeing in circulation.
Now I dont have a problem with people making a profit, but I dont think its healthy for the economy to just rise and rise. I think that players overall needs to sit down and think for a while about what they are doing.
If you want to make a change. I have a few suggestions.
One thing you can do is try and gather some crafters. And agree not to jack up the prices when you sell stuff. You might even try and lower the prices just a little bit. Try not to be to dependent on buying your crafting items. I believe that if most crafters would farm at least half their crafting needs. The economy would change.
Remember this. If you dont like the high prices. Dont pay them. Its as simple as that. Nothing bad is going to happen to you if you farm your stuff or wait until there is a bigger supply on the AH. Remember the buyers have alot of power, use it.

So here is my first real post.
It seems that Pc gamer has cut of all ads from Goldfarmers as they call it. I think that this is a good start. If more magazines and websites did so. It would be a step further on the road to giving these companies a bad time. These companies are giving cheaters a helping hand. And I love it when something like this happens. In my humble opinion they deserve every bit of trouble they get.
Fighting these companies isnt easy. And one need to use different ways.
If I were the boss of any online gaming company. Like Blizzard or SE. I would go together with every game developer that is riddled with this plague. And I would try to lobby to get new copyright laws. That take this thing into consideration. The thing most people dont realize is that many of these companies are hosting their webservers in the United States. This means even if they are based in China some vital parts of their business is on American soil. That means I would go after those supplying server space paypal and ebay. I mean if you can in someway make this business illegal. They would have no option of cutting their ties with such companies.
Thats all folks
